Criticisms

Playphone is often accused of being deceptive. There are several complaint websites where customers found charges on their cell phone bill without knowledge of how they may have been signed up in the first place . Several sites exist—blogs, social media profiles, etc. -- that appear to be officially from Playphone with the same general text, that of helping customers with complaints about charges on a bill.
