Pitching engine
Encyclopedia
A pitching engine is an online platform based on crowdsourcing
principles. As an online marketplace, brands can upload briefs on the platform and ask the community of creatives to pitch their ideas and solutions. After the deadline is met, the brand chooses the best pitch and rewards its creator.
Pitching engines are a means to open up the creative market to all individuals including amateurs, freelancers, agencies or larger firms and allow any company or organisations to invite anyone around the world to offer them creative solutions.
Currently the major pitching engines are being used by businesses looking for logo designs, website designs, product concepts, print advertisements, TV storyboards and developing marketing solutions.
Examples of pitching engines are crowdSPRING
, and Zooppa
