Plot

 and helps a passenger. Later when they sneak into a factory

, he forces him to help break a safe in the factory, which frightens the panther of being on a "wanted" poster. After Pink Panther enters, a guard dog spots him, chases him, and bites him on the tail. So the burglar uses a wind-up

, then he turns the magnet off, and the wallet falls into Pink's hand. Then, the burglar tries to holdup the Pink Panther for the wallet, so the panther activates the magnet once more. It attracts the burglar's gun. Then the Pink Panther turns off the magnet, causing the burglar to fall onto the conveyor belt. When the gun lands, it shoots the burglar, causing the burglar and his gun to go into rejects. Then, Pink Panther uses dynamite to blow the safe up, instead blowing the burglar up and sent in rejects again. Then, Pink Panther uses gas to open a hole in the safe. The fire from the welding tool hit the gas line, blowing the burglar into the 3rd Precinct Police Station. As the Pink Panther leaves, the alarm rings, causing the dog to wake up and chase Pink Panther again.

-TV. When MGM released all 124 Pink Panther cartoons on DVD in 2006, the theatrical versions were, for the most part, utilized. However, several television prints made their way onto the DVD set, Pink in the Clink being one of them. As a result, the laugh-tracked version is currently available.
