Boya came to FK Partizan

In the meantime, Boya also recorded another dubious achievement in the 2005–06 UEFA Champions League crucial qualifying match versus FC Artmedia Bratislava. After missing several clear chances through the two matches, he failed to convert a decisive penalty in the shootout that would have qualified Partizan for the group stage.

In the summer of 2007, Boya was transferred to FC Rapid Bucureşti. Although he had a mediocre season, he was considered Rapid's main striker after the departure of Mugurel Buga

 and signed a one and a half year deal, after the club qualified for the 2010–11 UEFA Champions League. He marked his re-debut for the club by coming in at half-time, scoring two goals and providing an assist in a league match versus FK Rad
