basis was Addison Hoover, who joined the show in April 2005 and left just months later. Since July 11, 2006, Phoebe has been played by MacKenzie Mauzy
. In July 2008, Mauzy went on recurring status because she was cast in the Broadway musical, “A Tale of Two Cities”. She returned to Los Angeles
in December for a few episodes before her character's death.

The younger and more emotional of the twins, Phoebe believed that her older brother Thomas'

) relationship with illegal immigrant Gaby Moreno (Shanelle Workman
) was what divided Ridge and Taylor, and informed Taylor that the two had sex, knowing that this would cause Taylor to have Gaby deported
. Taylor did call the immigration department, but was unsuccessful in convincing them to deport Gaby.
After Taylor's second death from a gunshot wound, Phoebe and her siblings fell for Bridget who moved in with them to take care of them. Ridge had developed feelings for Bridget that he was afraid to act on because of the pain it would cause Eric, so he broke it off between them and a heartbroken Bridget moved on. Ridge turned his sights to Brooke who ended up sleeping with Nick thinking Ridge had been burned in a fire and she became pregnant. The first paternity test proved Nick was the father, the second test was altered by Deacon Sharpe and the third stated Ridge was the father, so Brooke and Ridge married and she moved in with the family. At first, none of the siblings wanted it, Thomas actually tried to kill himself by drinking booze, but eventually they decided to get along with Brooke because of how happy their father was. Sometime during the marriage, Phoebe and Steffy were sent to boarding school.
On July 11, 2006, Phoebe returned to Los Angeles
to see her family, and explained that Steffy had opted to stay in London
, where they were on vacation. As she was driving home one night she got a flat tire. Her aunt, Darla
(Schae Harrison
), arrived to help her fix it. While strenuously pulling, Darla was jolted back onto the road and was accidentally hit by Taylor, resulting in Darla's death. Phoebe, Hector Ramirez (Lorenzo Lamas
), and Phoebe's grandmother Stephanie
(Susan Flannery
) were conspiring to keep Taylor's part in Darla's death a secret, while Taylor struggled with her guilt. Phoebe being the emotional twin, feared losing her mother again and begged for her mother to remain silent.
Phoebe had taken a liking to gardener Shane McGrath (Dax Griffin
), who was a witness to Darla's accident. However, there has been a growing attraction between Phoebe and Rick
(Kyle Lowder
) since his return from Europe. It has been explained that Phoebe and Rick are technically not related, as Phoebe's father Ridge is the son of Massimo Marone

. The Forresters are strongly opposed to the growing relationship between Rick and Phoebe. Rick's mother, Brooke Logan

), seems significantly less bothered by the relationship. She has been much more concerned with Ridge's increasingly violent reactions towards her son and Nick's growing love for Taylor. After Ridge punched Rick in Australia after finding him in bed with Phoebe, Brooke broke off their engagement and went to find Nick Marone.
Phoebe's recent friendship with singer Constantine Parros has caused some friction between her and Rick. Constantine, who saw her and Rick singing in a video posted by Rick's friend C.J. Garrison
offered for them to join his label, Boldface Records, but Rick declines while Pheobe agrees, much to Rick's dismay. Rick believes that Constantine has an 'ulterior motive' to his relationship with Phoebe and is determined to find out what he can (all while he hides his affair with Ashley Abbott
). Rick and Constantine make a bet, to which Phoebe reluctantly agrees, that they will both sing at C.J's cafe Insomnia, with Phoebe. The flirtatious and complicated triangle between Phoebe, Rick, and Constantine continues. Eventually Constantine 'moves on' with Rick's half-sister Felicia ending the love triangle between them and Phoebe. For a while, Rick and Phoebe were happy, despite the disapproval of their families, but then Phoebe was devastated when she discovered Rick had slept with Ashley so she broke things off.
About a year later Phoebe suddenly says she still has feelings for Rick, but Rick has fallen in love with Taylor. Taylor denied her feelings and told him they were only friends. Phoebe then went to Australia, unaware of Rick and Taylor's feelings. Meanwhile in LA Taylor had fallen in love with Rick. When Phoebe returned to L.A. she walked in on her mother and Rick in bed together. After talking with her mother, Phoebe bravely let her mother know that she won't stand in the way of them being happy. She was reunited with her twin, Steffy
(now played by Jacqueline MacInnes Wood
) and then their relationship was strained by Steffy falling for Marcus Walton. Phoebe had told her father about Marcus being Donna's son, and Ridge
pleaded with Steffy to not be with him, but Steffy, this time, following her own heart, insists that he is not like his mother.
Phoebe returned to L.A. for her father's upcoming wedding to Brooke Logan
. She told her mother that she stayed away on tour and promoting Forrester Creations's new fragrance "Phoebe" because she didn't want to see her mother and her first love together. Phoebe talked with Steffy
about Rick's recent antics toward their father where Phoebe learned from her sister that Rick kissed her. Furious she told Steffy she had to make a stop before going to Ridge
and Brooke
's wedding rehearsal. Hurt and angry at the way she felt Rick used her, then her mother, then hitting on her sister and the bitterness toward her father Phoebe argued with Rick
in his office at Forrester Creations which continued in his car. She told Rick to pull over but he refused saying they were almost to the rehearsal. Phoebe commence to pummel Rick furiously yelling and screaming as he tried to maiintain control of the car. She also floored the gas. She was outraged over his behavior of bedding her mother and sister and it led to the car crash accident. Rick did not heed the warning signs, nor did he demand Phoebe wear a safety belt. After the accident he managed to walk to Eric's house and get help from Ridge
, who had gone outside to call Phoebe. She woke up and began to sing the song she wrote for Ridge
and Brooke
's wedding then she died in her father's arms as he screamed out in horror at the site of Phoebe's death.
