Plot

The player begins on the planet Motavia in the year 1268 A.W (After Wars) in the series chronology. While working as an agent for the town of Paseo, the player receives a cryptic letter from long time friend and scientist Ken Miller: "How are you? I have succeeded in the discovery of the century. You must come and see it."

The player makes plans to travel by space shuttle to see what Ken is so excited about, and thus arrives at the neighboring ice planet Dezolis where Ken is stationed. Traveling to the Dezolian town of Carsonville the player finds that Ken has invented a machine that can transform humans into immensely powerful beings. Because of the implications of such an invention, Ken is subsequently kidnapped and his device confiscated by an unknown party. The player must then solve this mystery with the assistance of Ken's sister Laila .
