to create the STARBRIGHT Foundation http://www.starbright.org —a charity dedicated to developing media and technology-based programs to educate and empower children to cope with the medical, emotional and social challenges of their illness. On June 5. 1995, Peter Samuelson, General Norman Schwarzkopf and Steven Spielberg launched the world’s first, and longest continuously running, fully interactive social network, Starbright World, delivering video, sound, text and avatar - based communication to hospitalized children.
