Peter McIntyre OBE
(4 July 1910 – 11 September 1995) was a New Zealand painter and author. He was the son of Peter McIntyre, a lithographic artist, and his wife, Isabella Edith Cubitt.
He was New Zealand's official war artist
during World War II.
In 1968 he published The Painted Years and went on to publish several other books of New Zealand and Pacific life.
