Plot

A tragedy cloud blossoming on the home of the millionaire Eliseo, since Marisela his daughter, to whom wants closely, suffers a mortal disease. Marisela becomes pregnant during just a short time that her life is over, but dies when she gives birth to her born daughter.

Eliseo contracts second nuptials with Victoria, a widow with two children, Aníbal and Rodolfo, who are identical twins. Victoria does not allow that new born comes to put in danger the inheritance of her children, which Aníbal is her favorite, and especially takes advantage of the presence in the city of a circus where the fortune teller, called Sabina, have a daughter who finishes giving to light a dying girl. Victoria changes the newborn of Marisela and the only one that could denounce her deceit is Delfín, that dies in an accident.

The years pass and Rodolfo, who is now a straight man and kind (very different from his egoistic brother Aníbal) he is taken by the destiny to the circus, where he meets Peregrina, the beautiful dancing granddaughter of the gypsy, who is identical to Marisela. Rodolfo and Peregrina fall in love, but he, knowing that she is amazing similar with the daughter of his step-dad to who only carries anger of Victoria, but she decides to go on a trip to try to forget it.

When Peregrina goes looking for Rodolfo to the house of Eliseo, she meets Angelica, the aunt of her true mother, who takes affection her similarity with Marisela.
Shortly after, Peregrina suffers an accident and is taken to the house of Eliseo, that offers her a home. Victoria, that knows perfectly who is the young person, becomes infuriated and she tells her secret to Aníbal.

Taking advantage of the prolonged absence of Rodolfo, Aníbal pretends to be the man with whom fell in love with Peregrina and he proposes marriage to her. It is not until her honeymoon that Peregrina discovers that she has been used, when Anibal confesses to Abigail, that had been protesting him,and Aníbal told her that he only married with Peregrina to seize of the fortune of Eliseo.

In an heated fight, Abigail kills Aníbal to prevent that he marries Peregrina, which later they blame her of homicide. To the return of Rodolfo, Peregrina will have to face the unique man whom she has loved, whose enthusiastic love has become hatred and a ferocious desire of revenge.

But at the end Rodolfo tells Peregrina the truth that it wasn't him that used her that it was his twin brother Aníbal and with all said Peregrina believed him and she moves into her house which Eliseo left her his inheritance meanwhile Evita gets mad she tries to kick Peregrina out of her house which she doesn't know it's Peregrina's house now so Rodolfo kicks Evita out of Peregrina's house meanwhile Abigail(true mother of Evita) is in the jail Evita moves to her grandfather house which he makes her work and clean which she hated it but later got used to it and months later Peregrina and Rodrigo gets married with all sorts of people and clowns in the crowd waiting for them to get married and with both of them said 'yes' they were one to the other.
