believers and denominations from across the world.
The Pentecostal World Conference meets every three years. The first conference was held in 1947 at Zürich

. This meeting was organized by Swiss pastor Leonard Steiner, who was assisted by David du Plessis
. Since then, the Conference has met at Paris, France (1949); London, England (1952); Stockholm, Sweden (1955); Toronto, Ontario (1958); Jerusalem, Israel (1961); Helsinki, Finland (1964); Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (1967); Dallas, Texas (1970); Seoul, Korea (1973); London, England (1976); Vancouver, British Columbia (1979); Nairobi, Kenya (1982); Zurich, Switzerland (1985); Singapore (1989); Oslo, Norway (1992); Jerusalem, Israel (1995), Seoul, Korea (1998), and Los Angeles, California (2001). The Los Angeles meeting was convened in celebration of the Azusa Street Revival
. The 20th Conference met at Johannesburg, South Africa in 2004.
Pentecostal organizations that subscribe to the PWC Statement of Faith may apply for membership, which is subject to the approval of the Advisory Committee of the Pentecostal World Fellowship.
