Paramedics are represented by the sole bargaining unit [OPSEU Local 277], the Ontario Public Service Employees Union. A new executive of OPSEU Local 277 was voted in Fall 2010 for a 2 year term. The Bargaining Unit is represented by:

This replaced the 2008 executive of ex-President Brenda Wilson Young, VP Andrew Orr and Secretary Sandra Kearsey.

Peel Paramedics routinely encounter offload delays at area hospital because of the volume of patients transported and the aging population in the Region of Peel.
