Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, or PVMHS, is a public high school

THE AFJROTC program is a military-based set of courses for students interested in pursuing a military career.
The college preparatory classes at PVMHS have allowed students to go on and succeed at some of the most prestigious universities in the country. Graduates from the classes of 2007 and 2008 are currently attending Harvard University in Cambridge, and noteable 2009 graduates are attending Notre Dame University, The George Washington University, Boston College and Boston University.
During the 1993-94 season after Flynn's resignation Richard Carey was hired to be the new director along with long-time PVMHS faculty member June Kessel as Stage One advisor. Since those years Carey and Kessel and all the past and present members of Stage One along with SOAP have brought Stage One back. Both Carey and Kessel are still in their same roles present day. The company is highly praised and puts on three shows a year. A fall show, a drama festival home show, which also competes at the Massachusetts Educational Theatre Guild's Drama Festival, and a spring musical.

Stage One: The Drama Club at PVMHS
Peabody Veteran's Memorial High School's Drama Club Stage One is one of the best known theater programs in the Essex County, Massachusetts area. For over a decade Stage One has competed in the Massachusetts Drama Festival sponsored by the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild. In 1970 Father Frank Toste CSC, a PVMHS faculty member founded a drama club and department at Peabody High. He dubbed the drama club, Stage One. The company quickly had great reviews with Father Toste leading the charge as the company director. Along with many great sets of casts and technical crews Stage One grew to great accomplishments leading up to Father Toste's departure from the company in 1990 upon his retirement. He was replaced by Steve Flynn who led the company for a few short, but great years.
