He has won several regattas around the world, including the Ratzeburger Regatta in Germany, the Gent Regatta in Belgium, Wedau regatta in Germany, Austria championships, and the Paolo D Aloja regatta in Italy. As a junior he won 2 gold medals, and one silver medal at the junior Panamerican Games, and won the Canammex regatta three consecutive years. In 2005 he won three gold medals at the U.S nationals. In 2007 he was 10th place at the world rowing championships in Strathclyde, Scotland.

He has been a national champion for 10 consecutive years
