Location

Running almost parallel to the Mumbai-Pune Highway is a 1200 feet (365.8 m) high mountain chain. Tucked away in the mountains, in a deep gorge is the foaming white waterfall which tumbles down the edge of the mountain. Pandavgarh is next to Ove Camp 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) from Taloja on the Thane-Pune Road. Despite its name, there is no fort here. It is 46 kilometres (28.6 mi) from Mumbai.

The caves

A small waterfall called Nangrya is situated beside the main waterfall. A cave is situated half way down the waterfall, which can be easily reached by a dusty path. Tradition recounts that the Pandavas had stayed in the cave during the time of their exile.
