. The mountain is the prefecture's highest summit at 1,924 m and the location is at Katelanos (Κατελάνος). Its length is approximately 25 km long from east to west and its width is approximately 15 km wide. The mountain extends from Agios Vlassios up to the area between Stavloi and the new Evinos dam.

Information

Forests are found in the outer part of the mountain, bushes are sporadically found, grasslands and rocks along with ledges covers the rest of the mountain range. The Evinos river flows to the south where recently a new dam was built.
