Relocation to San José and Los Barbosa

His mother Marcelina Mendoza remarried widower Manuel Montaño on October 9, 1822. Don Manuel was originally from Cocula, Jalisco but was at the time a resident of the Hacienda San José de Miravalle

Marriage

Pablo bought the potrerito and settled in Los Barbosa during the 1830s. On May 20, 1841, at the age of 26, Pablo married María Petra Curiel Ramos of Mesa de Ramos
