Open Fire
Encyclopedia
Open Fire is the first live album by American
hard rock
/heavy metal
band Y&T
, released in 1985 through A&M Records
. It was recorded in the same year.
This album became one of the rarest Y&T albums to find on CD, until Hip-O Records
(a subsidiary of Universal that specializes in reissues) reissued it in 2005 with two bonus tracks, "Black Tiger" and "Summertime Girls". Both songs were live like the rest of the album, but the concert version of "Summertime Girls" was actually the original B-side of the studio version when it was released as a single.
