Biography

Kaljakin began her career in advertising

 by joining Petersen Publishing. She later became a graphic designer and art director for Seininger Advertising, Aspect Ratio and Crew Creative. During her career, Kaljakin received numerous awards and honors for her work, much of which focused on motion picture advertising, especially for films.

Kaljakin designed and created film posters over the course of twenty-five years. She personally designed and created the film posters for The Last Samurai

Olga Kaljakin died of emphysema
