History

Nova Gradiška is often referred to as The youngest city.

The city of Nova Gradiška was founded in 1748. It had been founded because of Vojna krajina  (Soldatensiedlung der Grenzgarnison Nr. 8) and was first named as Friedrichsdorf . Already in 1754. the first building built - is the church of Saint Tereza, which is an important monument of baroque
