After dropping their first game in a blowout against Alpharetta, North Cobb stepped up their game. They went on a five game winning streak being 5-1 entering a match-up against highly favored Hillgrove who came out on top. The following week the Warriors ran into undefeated McEachern, going into the final minutes of the game with the Warriors leading the 3rd state ranked Indians, allowed a touchdown to give McEachern a 31-28 lead with seconds to go. North Cobb would go on to lose the remaining two games on their schedule with a 5-5 season. Darren Waller, Max Mason, and Troy Gray were all D-1 commits. Not only were those three D-1 but overall 9 memebers of that senior class have already gone on to college ball in some form or fashion. Some as walk-ons ect.
