History

North Cobb Christian was founded in 1983, when four families wanted a Christian educational environment. They put the plans together and borrowed the building from the previous church. 36 children made up the grades from Kindergarten through third. The founders had not planned on it growing so fast, so over the next five years, a grade was added each year until the school reached eighth grade. The High school

Academics

North Cobb Christian has a Biblically based curriculum that includes many Honors and AP classes. NCCS offers a program known as Directed Studies. This is a program that all students at NCCS are offered. The Directed Studies consist of Educational Therapy

Many of NCCS athletes have participated and brought back State Championships trophies and National Championships trophies. The sports included from middle school to high school include: Basketball, Football, Baseball, Cheerleading, Golf, Tennis, Cross Country, Soccer, Swimming, Track, Volleyball, and Softball. There have been many NCC Athletes to go on to play their respective sports for prestigious college and universities. Most notably of these are Chase Childers (Baseball, GA State '09C), Dustin Ware (Basketball, UGA '12c), Matt Shaw (Basketball, Libscomb '13c), Milos Kleut (Basketball, Libscomb '13c) and Rachel Loe (Basketball, Kennesaw State, '13c)
