. The most interesting aspect of this village is that the whole village drives its lineage from a single father Ch.Alam Chand who got Nilothi in partition & his elder brother got Nangloi as his part. This small village has produced one Member of Parliament and a many times councillor, Ch. Bharat Singh Shokeen ( -19 April 2008), ex M.P. Outer Delhi (1984–89) and one Member of Legislative Assembly namely Sh. Manoj Shokeen.

Nilothi Extension

Nilothi Extension is a group of colonies (residents of which are of all community but mainly Sikh and punjabis settling and living here in perfect harmony) near Nilothi. The people started settling here as early as since 1984.
Whole of these colonies are divided by a road of 3 kilometers starting and ending between Sayed Nangloi and Nilothi villages. This begun developing since 1984 which includes Vikas Vihar, Abchal Nagar I -II, Arya nagar, Bharat Vihar, Chander Vihar, Deepak Vihar, Dalip Vihar,Defence Enclave, Gram Sabha Colony, Guru Nanak Vihar, Gurunanank Enclave, Guru Gobindsingh nagar, Himgiri Enclave, Hukum Vihar, Kanhaya Nagar, Meera Kunj, Mahavir Enclave, New Har Kishan Nagar, Nihal Vihar phase 2, Ranjit Vihar,Shiv Enclave, Teacher (Shikshak) Vihar, Uday Vihar part I, II,III,IV,M blocks and Vikaspuri Extension. and very good village so peacefully clean village,nilothi ext,deepak vihar

 Village (Uttamnagar side). These colonies have at the late drawn attention of the government bodies but main developments in the area have done. Main Road has been metalled. Side drains on main road are constructed .The making of streets roads have also constructed. Soon these growing colonies will take better shape in coming future,but Nilothi is almost developed & a clean village. Since it is surrounded by all leading markets & cities like Vikas Puri , Paschim Vihar , Mira Bagh etc. it owns one of the best geographical situations to live. The famous singer singer daler mehndi has it's farm house here & resides here only most of the time...

There is a temple in the village decorated beautifully from inside near Pradhan market which is build & constructed with the fund collected from villagers...

Also one of the interesting thing in this area is that, It is having one Ashram of Sant Thakur Singh Ji Maharaj since last three decades.Not only Indians, people from foreign countries are coming here to listen Holy Satsang from ancestors of Thakur singh ji Maharaj.
