On December 2, 2009, Šarčević announced on his official Facebook page that his new album "Nikola & Fattiglapparna" will be released on March 3, 2010 in Sweden. The 11-song album, his first recorded entirely in Swedish, will be released through his own label Stalemate Music.

Nikola believes that his brother Branko is far more talented than himself. In recognition of this he intends to dedicate his next solo album to Branko. Nikola is also a supporter of Toronto FC, and keeps his head clean shaven in honour of Danny Dichio, TFC striker.
