Its current headteacher is Mr Philip Jakszta, with the deputy headteacher being Mrs Whittle. The best of science is currently Dr Sutton, who is an all round hero to many students.
In March 2009 the School was rated "Satisfactory" by Ofsted, and in 2011 "Good" and said to be making a steady progress.
