, all were withdrawn when Pacific National decided to discontinue electric locomotive haulage.
All except 2 were sold to Silverton Rail in 2002 and then to Allco Finance with some on sold while most were scrapped at Broken Hill.

Survivors

  • 8601 is owned by the Dorrigo Steam Railway and Museum, currently stored at Kooragang Island.
  • 8606 is located at the Junee Roundhouse, owned by the Sydney Electric Train Society.
  • 8607 is privately owned, stored at Broken Hill.
  • 8609 & 8622 are both owned by El Zorro, currently stored at Lithgow
  • 8644 is privately owned, stored at Eveleigh.
  • 8646 is preserved & displayed at the New South Wales Rail Transport Museum.
  • 8649 is owned by El Zorro, currently stored at Werris Creek.
  • 8650 is owned by the Dorrigo Steam Railway and Museum, currently stored at Werris Creek
