was the native of village called Kampili. He was a weaver by profession and was highly devoted to Lord Shiva and his devotees. His mind was well fixed on the lotus feet of the Lord. His lips always uttered the Panchakshara Mantra. His hands were ever busy in the service of Shiva’s devotees. These three virtues gained the Lord’s grace for him. Lord Siva who had pleased with his immense service, came with Mother Parvathy and showered their blessings on him. They raised Nesa nayanar to his holy Abode and nayanar lived there for ever.
