It is relatively busy airport during summers as many Moroccan nationals living in Western Europe and originating from Nador region (mainly the Riffian Berbers

Terminal and passenger facilities

Nador International Airport has a single terminal, divided in arrivals and departures, both on the ground floor and sharing the public/open area with basic facilities as a coffee-shop, snack-corner and small shop. Check-in terminals are located at one side of the main terminal hall, while the other side is for the baggage check for arriving customers.
After passport control there is a waiting-room, a smoking-lounge and a small room for praying. The tax-free shop is closed.
On boarding you leave via controlled doors and walk to the plane.

Outside the terminal building there is a paid parking lot and -on arrival of a scheduled flight- taxis are available for connection to Nador

 city by road. Other than taxis, no public transport is available. On arrival, meeting incoming flights many grand taxis wait outside the terminal and offer transfers to most regional cities.
