NYC & Company, a private non-profit corporation, is the official tourism marketing organization for New York City
. The organization was formed in 1999 through the combination of the New York Convention & Visitors Bureau and with New Yorkers for New York: the Permanent Host Committee, a business group promoting major destination events in the city. Over 1,800 organizations are members of NYC & Company, including museums, hotels, restaurants, retail stores, theaters, tour organizations, and attractions. NYC & Company has an annual budget of approximately $16 million, 40% of which comes directly from New York City.

to its visitors and residents. Most recently, NYC & Company made the news with the October 10th launch of This is New York City, inviting visitors to customize their New York City experience.
