 team known as Mullahoran St. Josephs. The club have been unbeaten in the Cavan Senior Hurling Championship since 1990. The club also appeared in the Division 3 Ulster Senior Hurling League in 2006, but ended up the losing side against Bredagh from Co. Down. Mullahoran's U-14 hurlers also won the All-Ireland Feile in 2003, becoming one of the first Cavan teams to win a national hurling honour.

A number of the senior mens and womens team members have been recognised with All-Star awards at national level.

Ladies Gaelic Football

Mullahoran Ladies Gaelic Football are strongly represented over the years, winning numerous titles from U12 to Seniors.
The U16 ladies are currently the championship and league county champions having beaten Lacken and Templeport in the finals. Mullahoran Ladies also won the inaugural Ladies All-Ireland Club Championship in 1977. The team beat Newtownshandrum of Cork to win the Dolores Tyrrell Memorial Cup.

Féile 2008

Féile was hosted by Cavan in 2008 and both u-14 boys and girls in Mullahoran hosted tems in their houses for the weekend of Féile. The boys hosted Yorkshire, England while the girls hosted St. Annes Rathangan, Wexford. Although some of the teams won some games none of them were successful enough to reach the final.
