, USA. The principal is Mrs. Melissa Wisk. MTRS offers many sports programs and encourages student participation in the variety of in-school and after school groups and clubs it offers. The school year is broken down into three trimesters.

According to their official website, the school's goals and mission are, "At Mother Teresa Regional School, we believe elementary and middle school education represent the foundation for a lifetime of learning. Our faculty is committed to understanding the unique needs and talents of each child, working with each student at their level, and inspiring each of them to believe in their abilities and strengthen their unique gifts and talents. As a Catholic education community, students are encouraged to deepen their relationship with God and to participate in the sacramental life of the church. We encourage parent participation and student collaboration to strengthen bonds within a community that is open, nurturing and welcoming."

Athletics

MTRS prides itself on the athletic programs it offers, which include basketball, baseball, track and the New Jersey Devils

 sponsored "Street Devils" floor hockey program, which runs for two seasons each school year, in the fall and spring. The hockey program has involved the likes of former NHL players Grant Marshall

 and Jim Dowd, who participated in events with parents, children and players. Dowd was a part of a special "Hockey Night" fundraiser on September 24, 2011, in which more than $1000 was raised to benefit local hurricane relief for the American Red Cross

Elective programs

Mother Teresa Regional School also offers a variety of unique elective classes for its Middle School sector. Each course lasts approximately twelve weeks, for each of the three school trimesters. Learning Academy

Beginning in October 2011, the school has had a Learning Academy, which offers after-school and weekend enrichment programs, for students aged two to fourteen in the Bayshore area. These programs are open to all children, and are not limited to students of the school or Catholics. The academy aims to offer more than twenty programs per season, including topics such as sports, history, science and dance.
