Career

Her career began at 8 months old when she booked her first professional job, a Braun ThermoScan Ear Thermometer commercial. Although she has never stopped acting for fun, she did not continue to pursue acting as a profession until the age of 9 when she got an agent and started going out on auditions and consistently receiving call-backs. Her first film role was the part of Kim Baker in the box-office hit Cheaper by the Dozen

Personal life

York was born in Burbank, California. She lived in Studio City until her family moved to New York City in November of 1997. They lived in NYC until the end of the year 2000. While they were living there, Morgan studied acting and spent several Saturday afternoons at Broadway matinees. Morgan is the oldest of three. She has a younger brother and sister. York attended Los Angeles' renowned Millikan Middle School Performing Arts Magnet where she was a part of the musical theater program. She later attended CHAMPS Charter High School in Van Nuys, CA. She is, in addition to being an actress, an avid writer. She is currently working on a four part series, the first book of which she has completed and is working on getting published.
