occupies the entire first floor. The whole of the top floor is given over to the Food Court which has now closed. Small independent stalls featuring jewellery and other accessories can be found near the escalators at ground floor level.

The Mall opens from 8am-6pm every day except Sunday. On Sunday trading laws restrict opening times to 11am-5pm.

Vacancy Rates

The Mall has recently seen high vacancy rates with the closure or re-location of key stores such as Boots, Newcastle United Club Shop, Benetton and Sportizus. With the redevelopment of nearby Eldon Square and Eldon Gardens providing larger and more flexible options for retail premises it is unlikely that these vacancies will be filled in the near future.
