to snowboard as children. When the two showed signs of talent, he moved the family from Minnesota to Mammoth Lakes to give them an opportunity to develop their skills. Mason is currently also on the U.S. Snowboarding Team.

Career

Aguirre's first pro event was in 2002. She later left Burton and made the transfer for a while to DC. In addition to attending nursing school for a future career in sports medicine, she now rides for Echelon Snowboards.
