Early career

Al Zeno's career began with the Al-Ittihad Aleppo youth squad under coach "Omar Al Shaaban" in the "Al Smoud Football school" in Aleppo

, he went later to the youth team from Al-Shorta Aleppo. After playing a few games in the Al-Shorta under-17 youth team, he was considered Al-Shorta's professional team and, in 1999, signed his first professional contract.

, he finished as top goalscorer of the Syrian second Division. After the Syrian League season 2001-2002, Al-Shorta Aleppo was dissolved and Al Zeno went to Damascus

Al Zeno played tow seasons with Al-Shorta Damascus, his first saison with Al-Shorta Damascus was in season 2002-03, he scored his first goal for his new team on 1 November 2002 against "Al-Yaqaza Deir ez-Zor" in the Syrian Premier League

Al-Jaish

Al Zeno transferred to Al-Jaish in 2004. He played with Al-Jaish three season's, in his first season with Al-Jaish, Al Zeno won the 2004 AFC Cup, the second most important association cup in Asia. In the quarter finals re-match on 21 September 2004 against India Champions East Bengal, he scored one goal. The game ended 3–0 for Al-Jaish.
