In recent years there has been improvement, but overall the Mountaineers have always been dancing around the .500 mark and usually a quick exit from the playoffs. The Mountaineer line up for the 2006 season included 10 rookies and the team went the furthest it has even been into the playoffs. The 2007 season ended when the Mountaineers were eliminated in 5 games of round two of the playoffs by Halton Hills.
