Milton Lilbourne's population was listed on the Kennet District Council website as 512 in 2006. These days the village is largely a mixed residential area centred around the Manor in the centre of the Village. The nearest shops are in Pewsey about 2 miles away. The parish is unusual in that it a long thin shape and is one of the few parishes to have boundaries on the uplands to both south and north of the Vale. The southern boundary passes by a long barrow

 and the northern boundary buts up to the prehistoric fort on Martinsell Hill.

Its facilities include St Peters Church, with elements dating back to the 12th century, the Village Hall with playing fields and then on the Pewsey-Burbage road (B3087) in the area known as Little Salisbury was the "Three Horse Shoes" pub, closed in early 2009. North of the village and that road is the hamlet

The village has had a youth football team called 'Milton Lilbourne FC' who played in the under 15's age group but they passed out of the age group set up in 2008
