), is a Portuguese
footballer who plays for Vitória de Setúbal

Transferred to Madeira
's C.D. Nacional in the 2005 summer, he was there considered of one the best left wingers in the Portuguese first division. After an impressive season, in which he did not miss one game as the Madeira
side qualified to the UEFA Cup (notably scoring against his former team, in a 2–0 away win), he was bought by S.L. Benfica, on 22 August 2006, having previously been voted the league's best defender by newspaper Record

In 2007–08, after having managed just three appearances in Portuguese League Cup, being barred by former Brazilian international

In August 2008, he was released by Benfica and joined Madeira
's C.S. Marítimo, which had just qualified to the UEFA Cup. After a good first season, he fell out of favour, inclusively being demoted to the B team
and, in late January 2010, moved on loan to C.F. Os Belenenses.
