Proposed Structure and Organization of the Metropolitan Police

The police will be headed by a Chief and a Deputy Chief. Both are appointed by the head of the executive branch of the City.

The structure will be in charge of four areas, each headed by a Director General:
  • Public Security
  • Investigations and Research
  • Scientific and Technical
  • Administration


Police will have a unique hierarchical system of seven degrees, which provides an opportunity to each incoming, attain the highest office. Oversight of the police (internal affairs) is external force, in charge of the executive branch through the Ministry of Justice and Security.
