Melanie Marquez was born and grew-up in Mabalacat, Pampanga. Her father is Artemio Marquez, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as is her husband, ranch owner Adam Lawyer. Also being a member of the Church, she has been involved in its Relief Society
