Mayra Dias Gomes is a Brazil
ian author, journalist, columnist and media personality. She is the oldest daughter of Academy-Award nominated Brazilian playwright Dias Gomes and actress Bernadeth Lyzio.
She worked for four years as a music reporter for the largest Brazilian newspaper, Folha de São Paulo and later became a biweekly addition, now writing a column called “On The Road”. She is also a reporter for Contigo! magazine and a collaborator and host for Spin Earth, SPIN

Biography
Mayra Dias Gomes wrote her first novel, Fugalaça, in 2007, when she was seventeen, and it was highly successful in Brazil. Her second novel, One Thousand and One Nights of Silence, came out in 2009.She worked for four years as a music reporter for the largest Brazilian newspaper, Folha de São Paulo and later became a biweekly addition, now writing a column called “On The Road”.
