History

The mosque was constructed between 1989 and 1990. It was officially opened on 13 July 1990.

Architecture

The state mosque follows typical Malaccan mosque architecture which resembles a Chinese pagoda from the exterior. The interior of the mosque also shows Chinese influence and appears like the interior of a pagoda
