Marv Goldberg is a writer

; Accounting; 1967). Since his first articles in 1964, he has spent over forty years interviewing singers and documenting their contributions to American
music. In the mid-1970s he was an editor and publisher (along with Mike Redmond and Marcia Vance) of Yesterday's Memories, a magazine devoted to R&B. Since then he has written for most of the genre publications, as well as posting original articles to his Yesterday's Memories website (which he runs under the persona of "Unca Marvy"). Over the years, he has interviewed most of the biggest names in 1940s and 1950s R&B vocal-group music, in addition to hundreds of lesser-known singers. His work is, therefore, a survey of the formative years of R&B. In 1998, he had More Than Words Can Say: The Ink Spots and Their Music published.
