while discharging military supplies. On September 1, 1971 it was refloated and towed to Hong Kong
where it was scrapped in 1972. This ship came to the United States in 1949 to bring over immigrants. On July 17, 1949 this ship docked in New York with passengers from Germany. There were many from Stuttgart Germany who were of Armenian descent that arrived to the United States via this ship. 12,410 gross tons, 523 ft x 71.7 ft, engines aft.
