Spanish lyrics | English translation |
Behind their misty quilt we will not forget them! Argentine Malvinas! cries out the wind and roars the sea. |
From those horizons our ensign will not be ripped either as its white is on the hills and the sea is tinted on its blue |
Absent and defeated under an alien banner, no land is more beloved on the whole Fatherland. |
Who is talking here of neglect, of renouncement, of forgiveness? no land is more beloved on the whole Fatherland |
Do break the quilt of mist as a sun, ideal of ours; Argentine Malvinas under an already immortal dominion! |
And facing the sun of our flag, pure, distinct and victorious shalt it shine O Fatherland! in your crown the lost Southern pearl. |
Chorus To honor our flag, for the national pride, shalt it shine O Fatherland! in your crown the argentinian Southern pearl. |
