Manish was nominated for the best debut director award in IIFA and Percept’s Salaam-E-Comedy awards.
He runs Empty pictures productions that has produced or co-produced films made by him.
His father, Dr. Bibhuti Tiwary is a famous radiologist in Muzaffafarpur, Bihar while his mother Dr.Bharti Tiwary is a gynaecologist.His younger brother is also a doctor, and specializes in paediatrics.
After completing schooling from Sainik School in Tilaiya, he went to Hindu College, Delhi, and graduated in Zoology.
