 in 2004/2005 rail budget. It is a bi-weekly train.

Earlier on it would leave Bandra Terminus and after a halt at Borivali would go non stop until Hazrat Nizamuddin except for operational halts. Given the poor patronage to this train, the operational stops were changed to commercial stops. Thus, it now also halts at Vadodara Junction (for engine change) and Kota Junction (for crew change). It has only 3 halts either way (excluding starting and ending stations) as compared to the August Kranti Rajdhani Express, which has 12 halts.
