At Baja Saeindia 2007, India's first ever vehicle design and build competition held in December 2007, at the National Automotive Testing and R&D Infrastructure Project (NATRIP) facility in Pithampur

In January 2008 a remote-controlled switching system designed and made by students from MCKVIE was selected as best project at the seventh Engineering Fair, organised by Birla Industrial and Technological Museum (BITM), in association with The Telegraph
