Origin of the name Luxettipet
The name Luxettipet for the town located on the banks of Godavari river is due to Laxmi setty. Laxmi setty, a local business man used to have a shop near the Godavari for the people visiting Kotilingalu temple located other side of Godavari river. In his name, the town was named.Name
