Character's background

Liz is the adopted daughter of Mr. Sanbourne and Ruby Lincoln and adopted half-sister of Eve, Ruby's daughter from a previous relationship. Born in 1965/66, she was sexually abused by her father (who she believed to be her biological father) and blamed Eve for it; Eve had left home to be a nightclub singer, not knowing what was going on in the house.

Liz grew up to own a resort on St. Lisa's island, where she was in love with an ex-boyfriend named Brian

After coming to Harmony, Liz plotted and plotted to pay Eve back by letting everyone know of Eve's past. Finally all of Eve's sordid past came out and disgraced her in the eyes of TC, who divorced Eve and for a time became involved with Liz. Sometime later, Liz and TC were engaged.  and blamed Eve. Not long after this, TC sent Liz packing when he desired to try to get back with Eve. The reconciliation fell through, but TC didn't resume his relationship with Liz, who continued to hang around Harmony seeking to further punish Eve.

was most likely conceived. Chad was thought to be Eve and Julian's son; Liz had not known of his existence.

Liz confessed to multiple attempts on the lives of Alistair Crane and his son Julian Crane (including the nearly-forgotten 'Who Shot Julian Crane' story in 2002, in which she was not initially presented as a suspect as her past with the Crane men was left a secret for several years), before leaving Harmony in 2006, apparently abandoning her plans of revenge against Eve.
