Building and facilities
As of 2008, LHS had undergone a $50 million renovation, which features a new science wing, music wing, atrium, auditorium, auto shop, gymnasium, weight room and cafeteria. All of the new additions feature LEED certified energy saving fixtures. The existing building built in 1953 got an upgrade with a new security system, HVAC system a fire alarm system.
